Jessica Harrison is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, and Relationship Coach
Jessica Harrison CCHt., HBCE
HypnoBirthing® childbirth education classes, birth doula, fertility, IVF, breech positioning, induction, breastfeeding, labor and birth, fears and phobias, weight loss, post-partum, birth trauma, post-trauma, abuse and childbirth, grief and loss, emotional healing, stress management, sex drive, motivation, relationship/family coaching, and hypnosis for children.
Through her experience with clients, Jessica has discovered that many subconscious beliefs are established while in the womb and during birth. She also has come to find that traumatic birth experiences effect not only the mother but the newborn as well. The impact of negative birth experiences could be long-lasting unless addressed. This inspired her to become educated on how we birth as a society and learn about what we can do to create positive and loving change during this important journey into life. Jessica uses her education, training and personal experience to help improve the circumstances surrounding birth today. A strong believer in the research that babies are an active part of birth and that they remember their experience, Jessica places an emphasis on support, education, empowerment and creating a safe place to sacredly welcome in new life.
Aside from assisting with childbirth and birth education, Jessica focuses on bringing awareness to the problems that we currently face as a society in regards to birth. Jessica is working towards obtaining her Master’s degree in Psychology and plans on studying Pre-natal and Peri-natal Psychology with the hope of conducting research around birth trauma and bringing awareness to its psychological, emotional, and mental impacts. Jessica desires to spark change not only for our society but for every child that has yet to be born. She is committed to ensuring that the baby and the family are respected, honored, validated, and supported as a new life is being welcomed.
Jessica also dedicates time volunteering with the Arizona Youth Partnership where she works with the “Starting Out Right” program providing services and education to pregnant and parenting teens.
Jessica combines holistic modalities such as hypnotherapy, coaching,
guided meditation, and education to help empower, support, and guide families to love and healing.
“Through my experience of working with clients as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Childbirth Educator, and Doula, I have discovered that the way we are born into this world has great effect on who we believe we are. That the impact of birth leaves an imprint not only on the mother, but on the child as well since they are an active participant in birth. I have also found that there is a huge emphasis on making birth physically safe but we have forgot how to treat it as sacred, not seeing it as one of life’s greatest accomplishments but one of life’s biggest fears. My mission is to change how we view birth and make every birth a sacred, peaceful and loving experience.”-Jessica Harrison CCHt., HBCE
